Welcome to Fairford Art Society

We are a group of enthusiastic leisure painters who meet regularly in Fairford Community Centre to share ideas, techniques, and motivation. The aim is to enjoy our common interest in a relaxed, friendly, and supportive environment.

What to expect…

Twice a month members meet at the Community Centre to paint and work alongside friends. This is a much loved social event and visitors are welcome.

Painting sessions

Members can exhibit and sell their work at three local venues: The Plough, Hyperion House and the Surgery. This is a lovely way to contribute to the local community and showcase work.

External exhibitions

We aim to run at least two workshops per year. These are very popular and excellent value.

Day workshops

Our annual exhibition gives members an opportunity to showcase their work and hopefully make some sales.

Society Exhibition

During the summer, members can arrange to meet at a selection of local outdoor venues, often at no cost.

Outdoor painting

Once a month we invite professional artists to join us for a demonstration. Our camera equipment helps everyone see the demonstration clearly.

Demonstrations

​The Society has a membership of people living in Fairford and the surrounding area. New members are always welcome, and can attend any of our Get Together Painting Sessions or Demonstrations as a "drop in" guest. Come along and say hello!
